Belvnesheconombank Open Joint Stock Company is a universal credit and financial institution. With many years of experience and established reputation both in international and domestic money markets to its credit, Bank BelVEB OJSC holds a leading position among commercial banks in the Republic of Belarus in international settlements, foreign exchange transactions and foreign trade financing of state agencies and businesses.

Bank BelVEB OJSC operates in accordance with the following licenses:

General License No. 6 by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus dd. 21 December 2018.
Special Permit (License) No. 02200/5200-1246-918 by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus to perform professional and stock exchange operations with securities, issued for a five-year period subject to Decision dd. 29 July 2002 and later extended for a five-year period subject to Decision No. 243 dd.13 July 2007 and for a ten-year period subject to Decision No. 155 dd. 24 May 2012.
Special Permit (License) No. 02200/21-00884 to perform transactions with precious metals and stones, issued for a five-year term by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus subject to Decision No.132 dd. 23 June 2010 and later extended for a ten-year term by virtue of Decision 165 dd. 4 May 2015.

Pursuing its key lines of business, Bank BelVEB OJSC, all through its history of business operation, has held leading positions within the country's banking industry in rendering export and import payment services and financing foreign trade transactions. This is evidenced by credit lines established by banks from Germany, Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic and other countries to finance contracts for the delivery of goods and services necessary to implement investment projects in Belarus. Status of a principal member of MasterCard

Bank BelVEB OJSC holds the status of a principal member of MasterCard (since 1994) and VISA International (since 1995) and is licensed to issue plastic bank cards and provide card-related services as well as to assist other Belarusian banks in gaining access to these international payment systems.

Belarus-based Annual Banking Award Bank of the Year – 2020

Bank BelVEB OJSC was placed 1st and received a Deal of the Year nomination for a unique deal to finance a project against the security of property interests in trademarks without buying into the company.

In 2020, in setting up its digital eco-system, Bank BelVEB OJSC put into life three large-scale projects which enabled us to take 1st place and receive an Innovative Bank: Products nomination.

According to SME Banking Club, Bank BelVEB OJSC was included in the list of top-20 innovative banks of the CIS and Caucasus.

Annual Banking Award Bank of the Year – 2019

Bank BelVEB OJSC took 1st place and was nominated for the Leader in Lending award.

In 2018 we launched online payments by instalments, put into life an online deposit with automatic deposit replenishment, as well as offered online car loans implying car dealers’ participation. The foregoing products pushed Bank BelVEB OJSC to first position and enabled to receive an Innovative Bank: Products nomination.

For its role in financing Belkali-Migao LLC’s investment project aimed at the construction of the first stage of a potassium nitrate production plant at the industrial site of the 4th mining department of Belaruskali, Bank BelVEB OJSC became a nominee for the Deal of the Year award and was placed 2nd.
